~Bahay Kubo, kahit munti…~

Bahay Kubo charm bracelet
by KBelleC Creations

A few months ago, my family and I vacationed in the Philippines. When we got back, I began a mini project of crafting charms from “Bahay Kubo,” a popular Filipino folk song. A “bahay kubo” is a Nipa hut that served as a type of dwelling or resting hut. The song “Bahay Kubo” mentions the bahay kubo and how it’s surrounded by various vegetables. From left to right, the charms are arranged in the order they are sung in the song (⌒.⌒)
